Handgun Range

TCRGC has 16 lanes up to 25 yards in length with electric target retrieval systems. Each booth has walls separating it from the adjacent booth. Shooting distances are totally variable from essentially 10 feet all the way out to 25 yards.

The handgun range backstop can handle all handguns shooting straight wall cartridges designed for handguns, e.g., .44 Mag, .45 Colt, .50AE, .454 Casull, In addition, rifles firing the same handgun cartridges are generally allowed; however, Range Officers may prohibit some rifles/cartridges if range damage is a concern. Handguns shooting rifle calibers, such as T/Cs and similar single shot handguns with .30-30s, .223s, etc. must use the rifle range. Muzzleloading handguns are only allowed in the rifle range due to their extra range contamination (and 50 yds is a long shot).
